Jackie was full of life always with a smile on his face. His desire was to bring joy to others and always had a joke to tell. Even near the end of his life, although difficult to understand due to the ravages of vascular dementia, he always was trying to make you laugh by sharing some funny stories. So, although this is a very sad occasion, put a smile on your face because I’m sure that’s what he’d want.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 7 at Lighthouse Church, 2599 E. 98th St., Indianapolis, IN with visitation beginning at 11. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

My condolences Barbara and family. Many happy memories be with you. And I hope that these promises from Jehovah God will comfort you now, and in the days to come. “Do not be anxious….but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7; Isaiah 25:8 NWT.
